In 2001, St. Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church opened to serve the Coptic Orthodox Christians of the North Dallas area. At this initial opening, only the chapel on the first floor was complete. The church is now undergoing construction to complete the main chapel on the second floor. Construction completion is currently scheduled for April 2010 for the Feast of the Ressurection. Below are some pictures of the construction taken in early September, 2009.
