If God Does Not Exist!

"All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it" (John 1:3-5).

If I can close my eyes for a second and imagine that God does not exist, what do I see? How scary life will be? How horrible to think that I can tolerate life without God!

Many people search for who they are, how they came to be, and how life exists. Some search so they can be in communion with God but others search in order to prove that there is no existence of God.

With sin and corruptions morality became a taboo, something must be done to demolish it because it will remind us that there is a God who is watching and there is consequence of sin. Therefore new series and new ideas were born to excuse all the wrong in the world and to give us a reason for everything that is going wrong in the world.

There is no more condemnation instead comes satisfaction of turning our backs on all the morals that we knew for thousands of years and declare that there is no existence of God but rather it was all a mess that was made by people in order to believe in something that does not really exist.

Where can I be? Where do I go?

God, if You are not right in front of me in every step I take and every decision I make.

God, through my life I depend on You to share my thoughts and to give me peace that the world cannot offer to me.

God, You are the one that make me happy and satisfies no matter what my circumstances are.

God, You encourage me and give me hope every day.

God, You teach me that new lesson that will lead me to You and make me a better person and better friend.

Our life will never be the same with the increase number of ethics and with decrees, the number of the true believers. Moral values became under attack just as Christians. And Christians struggle to keep a life of righteousness. Because they believe that there whole existence depends on the Holy Bible and the scripture which basically dictates to them how to live according to God’s will and rules.

Many people live in poverty, because they never had an opportunity to meet with the Lord, to be touched by Him. Due to circumstances in their life that blocked their relationship with God or their ego and self-confidence are extremely high or lack of understanding.

No matter how much I listen or try to understand their point of view I stumble, for example:

  • I just do not only believe the existence of God but that my relationship with Him is very real and intimate.

  • There is no evidence in all their clams that God does not exist but they are like a lawyer that tries to prove something that totally is not there, such as:
    • Lack of understanding of something is not evidence of God existence. It is enough for someone to see how the universe is conducting itself in harmonies way to see a hand of a creator.

    • The scripture is not a true evidence of God’s existence. It is enough to know the history of the Holy Bible and to know that many people wrote it in different centuries and still synchronize and in harmony.

    • God is not the one who set up morality rather it is chemicals and supported by strong culture conditions. Without religion the word morality would not have existed because people would live to please their desires and themselves.

The fact is that we cannot visually see God does not mean He does not exist. We can identify the existence of God through everyday life such as our love and care for each other, our natural surroundings, unexpected situations and unbelievable solutions, and finally what some of us experience and learned through his spiritual growth and struggles.

Not giving God credit for what He has done and what He still does is like taking credit from Him and giving it to Satan who is undeserved and unworthy. Satan is roaming on the earth determine to destroy and demolish the work of God which is us.

May we all pray for all those who do not believe to be touched one day by the hand of God and feel the love and care that He can bring to their lives.
