The Seraphim Advanced Coptic Hymnology Retreat is a open for all deacons and males 18 years of age or older throughout the Diocese. The teachers will be Fr. Boulos Mikhail and Fr. Serapion Ghobrial. Don't miss the registration deadline.
The goal of this year's retreat is to learn, appreciate and understand the spirituality of the Orthodox hymns used in the Coptic Orthodox Church. We will be teaching advanced hymns such as Hos Epshois for Koiahk and Seasonal Sherat; these
are just some examples of the level of difficulty. "Blessed are they that dwell in Your house; they will be ever praising You" (Psalm 84:4). |
