H.G. Bishop Youssef on "Evangelism Conference & My College Mission"

Dear Colleges & Universities Fellowship Club Members,

Peace and grace

We promise the Lord in every Divine Liturgy to "Proclaim His death and resurrection." Yet, we stop short from fulfilling our weekly commitments. Many students in our universities and colleges are eager to hear about the true God Who will water their thirst and enlighten their path. All those souls around us need salvation and a SAVIOR. North Americans need to hear the gospel as we heard it. God has put you in those colleges and universities to reach out to those students with the eternal life message that, with the grace of God, moves people from death to life.

We, as Coptic Orthodox, need to go out of the box and extend talking to each other and preaching each other to talk to Non-Orthodox, Non-Christians, and atheists and agnostics. But, you might say, "I do not know how to talk to others about Christ?” Or, “I do not know what to say?"  This is why we arranged for: Person-to-Person Evangelism Training in the upcoming Evangelism Conference, August 12 &13 at St. Stephen Retreat Center, Titusville, Florida.

It’s a great opportunity to attend the conference and learn. I invite you to attend. Please invite not only the members of your fellowship club but also all students in your church to attend the conference.

I also invite you to participate in "My College Mission," in which you will work with others to arrange for having reach out to Non Copts during college "Orientation Week." Contact Victor Beshir for more details (beshirv@gmail.com).

Please share this message with Coptic students in your college. May the Lord bless you.

God bless you.
