  1. Homosexuality Defined

There is no agreement among either the scientific community, religious groups or homosexual people themselves as to the definition of homosexuality.

Lawrence J. Hatter, author of Changing Homosexuality in the Male, has given this definition: "One who is motivated, in adult life, by a definite preferential erotic attraction to members of the same sex and who usually, but not necessarily, engages in overt sexual relations with them." We've found this to be a good working definition, though a full explanation of the condition of homosexuality goes much deeper.

  2. The Cause of Homosexuality

Are homosexuals born that way? Do genes have anything to do with it?

Perhaps the most dangerous myth cited by the pro-homosexuality movement is that modern science has proven that homosexuality is innate and immutable.
That is, homosexuals are born gay, much like being born left-handed or with blue eyes.

The inference, of course, is that if they are born that way, then homosexuality cannot be considered immoral or unnatural; the homosexual is just following his or her genes.

There is no scientific evidence to support the notion that homosexuality is inherited.

It is safe to say that one's genetic and biological makeup does indeed determine his or her sex, but not his or her sexual preference.

We know of two basic causes of homosexuality:

    • A psychological susceptibility toward homosexuality that occurs so early in life that the person thinks he was born with it, yet no one is born homosexual. It is formed in him or her.
    • Homosexuality as a learned behavior. The Person develop homosexuality by thinking positively of homosexual practices.

  3. Homosexuality in the eyes of Society

The American Psychiatric Association's (APA) 1973 declassification of homosexuality as a mental disorder.

Peri Jude, President of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), asserted on the ABC news show Nightline: Homosexuality is not an illness; it is not something that needs to be cured. We are normal, natural and healthy people...but is it really so????

  4. Homosexuality.. is it a healthy lifestyle?

    + Promiscuity
Homosexuality, an official publication of The Institute for Sex Research founded by Alfred Kinsey, Alan Bell, and Martin Weinberg, reported that only ten percent of male homosexuals could be termed as "relatively monogamous" or "relatively less promiscuous." Additional findings showed that 60 percent of male homosexuals had more than 250 lifetime sexual partners, and 28 percent of male homosexuals had more than 1,000 lifetime sexual partners. Another startling fact is that 79 percent admitted that more than half of their sexual partners were strangers.

    + Sexual Practice
Seventy percent of Americans with AIDS are male homosexuals or bisexuals.

    + Suicide
Gay teens are 2 to 3 times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.
They account for up to 30 percent of all completed suicides among teens.
In 1989, suicide was the leading cause of death among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1989).

    + Isolation
Fifty percent of lesbian and gay youth report parental rejection because of their sexual orientation.

    + Chemical Dependency
In a study of gay male adolescents, 68 percent reported alcohol use; 26 percent reporting the use of alcohol once or more per week. Forty-four percent report using other drugs, and 8 percent consider themselves drug dependent. Eighty-three percent of young lesbians report alcohol use, and 56 percent report using other drugs. Eleven percent had used crack/cocaine in the three months preceding the study.

  5. What does the Bible Say about Homosexuality?

+ It warranted Gods wrath on Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 19).
It is the 1st account (most famous) about homosexuality.
Sodomy became another word for homosexuality.

+ It is an ABOMINATION (Lev 18:22).
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination" (Lev 18:22).
Abomination = an action that is vile and arouses disgust.

+ It is a capital offense, punishable by death (Lev 20:13).
"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them" (Lev 20:13).

+ If not repented, it will keep you away from the Kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9).
"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor 6:9).

+ It is unnatural (Rom 1:26).
"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature" (Rom 1:26).

  6. Homosexuality is against Nature.

Homosexuality is against nature because sexual relations are permitted only within the confines of marriage, and marriage is only permitted between a man and a woman.

Any sexual conduct outside these confines can only be described as an act against nature.

  7. Homosexuality and Love

It is claimed that homosexuality is simply love between man and man.

No, my brothers, love should be spiritual and pure. Loving others should not be against our love for God, because our Lord Jesus Christ said "He who loves father, son, wife, sister, or brother, more than Me, is not worthy of me, is not worthy to be My disciple" (Mt 10:37).

"And if you love the Lord, you will keep His Word..." (Jn 14:23).
If a man really loves another man, can he lead this man to lose his eternity and be punished in eternal life? Is it love to make another lose his image, the image of God?

  8. Rights for Homosexuals

Their only right is to be led to repentance. But to live in such defilement of the body, in such dishonor of the body, in such abomination and sin, and then ask for their so called human rights is unthinkable!

And being encouraged and defended by some of the members of the Church, they ask to be ordained in the priesthood, while still practicing homosexuality, this is simply beyond belief!

  9. What should be the Christian's attitude toward homosexuals?

We must always keep before us the fact that homosexuals, like all of us sinners, are the objects of God's love.

The Holy Bible says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom 5:8).
As Christians, we should share God's love for lost sinners.
As Christians, we should also hate all sin but find no justification for hating the sinner.

The homosexual is a precious soul for whom Christ died. We Christians can show him the best way of life by pointing him to Christ.

  10. Overcoming Homosexuality

For a homosexual to overcome his or her homosexuality, they must:

    - Have a strong desire to repent
    - Seek and accept the healing power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
    - Accept support from the society including family, friends, priests, and psychologists.
  11. Are You Funding the Homosexual Movement?

The Human Rights Campaign, the nations largest homosexual advocacy group, honored several corporations and foundations that have helped to fund the furtherance of the homosexual agenda. Below is a sampling of these companies:

    American Airlines
    Ford Motor Company
    IBM (International Business Machines)
    Cingular Wireless
    Nike
    Coors Brewing Company
    The United Way
The ACLU Lesbian and Gay Rights Project
    Pacific Bell
    Wells Fargo
    AOL Time Warner
