Was King Solomon a true prophet or was he  just like King Saul who prophesied?

Solomon was a true prophet and a king. There are many prophecies and symbols written by  Solomon that have been fulfilled in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Some of those prophecies are:

In the Holy Book of Psalm 72 King Solomon prophesied about the Messiah, the perfect King who surpassed him in wisdom and glory saying:

(Ps 72) "He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice. He will rule from the sea…to the ends of the earth. The desert tribes will bow before him and his enemies will lick the dust. ...the kings of Sheba and Seba [in Arabia] will present him gifts. All kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him. Long may he live! May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun! All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed. Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds! Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen."

In the Holy Book of Proverbs we read:
"The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was" (Prov 6:22-23).

"Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?" (Prov 30:4).

Unlike Solomon the prophet, king Saul was given the gift of prophesying for a very short period of time "...And the spirit of God will come upon you (Saul) and you will prophesy with them and you will be changed into another man" (I Samuel 10;6) then we read "And the spirit of God departed from Saul; and an evil spirit from God terrified him" (I Samuel 16:14).
