How can I be with God and in the world? I feel it is easy for me to find God in quite time alone, but not in sitting with people and talking (unless it is spiritual talk with spiritual people).

In our earthly life, we should set for ourselves a balance between being with God and being with man. Our Lord prayed for us saying "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one" (John 17:15). Having daily quite time with the Lord is a must. You need this private relationship with the Lord so that you can hear His voice and obey His commandments. When you socialize with people try to make the setting a spiritual one and always have in mind "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Mt 5:16).
