2010 Census - Important Information

March 10, 2010

COLLEYVILLE, TX. March 10, 2010 -- It came to the attention of the Diocese late last week that there would be a letter sent to all residences for the United States 2010 Census. The letter may have already arrived. There is a suggestion that we, as Copts, should agree on what to enter for "ethnicity" or "race". Keep in mind amongst other things is that this will have an effect, as is mentioned in the letter, on government funding for various things.

We are humbly asking you that there be a consensus as to how Copts should fill out this form in a unified way and that there be encouragement for every Copt in the United States to fill out this form through announcements of various means.
