What makes the Coptic Orthodox religion unique compared to other Christian religions?

The Coptic Orthodox Church is unique from other churches because it was not derived from any other church. Our Lord Jesus Christ established the Church of Alexandria, from the inception of the early church, Himself.

We learn from St. Paul's epistles how he addresses each church by the name of its district or diocese. Thus, our ancient roots were established from the era of the first apostles, including St. Mark the Evangelist who actually wrote the first canonical account of the Holy Gospel, as well as the first Divine Liturgy, from whence all the liturgies used in most apostolic churches today are derived. It was the same St. Mark who evangelized Egypt and established the Church of Alexandria. St. Mark was martyred in Egypt and some of his relics which had been stolen many centuries prior were returned to the Coptic Orthodox Church under the auspices of His Holiness Pope Cyril VI from the Roman Catholic Pontiff, Pope Paul V in 1968.
