<br><br>Dear Friends,<br><br>We have just been notified that voting in Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the Parliamentary elections may take place at the Consulates in the US as well as the Embassy.<br><br>For Phase 2 , You may mail in your ballot papers to the Consulate in Houston OR bring them in personally and drop them into the Ballot Box placed in the entrance of the Consulate. Phase 3 will commence in about 2 to 3 weeks time.<br>
<br>Last Ballot for Phase 2 to be received Monday at 4:00pm (or a few hours later in exceptional circumstances). The Consulate will be open to receive ballots during the weekend if you wish to bring them in person.<br><br>
Ballot boxes will be opened and counted on Monday evening and sent to Cairo by Diplomatic Pouch on Wednesday.<br><br>8 members of the Egyptian community <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 51);">who are registered to vote</span> will be coming to the Consulate on Monday evening to observe the opening of the Ballot boxes adn counting of the ballots. <br>
